Understanding manual exposure
I will help you to understand how your camera "thinks", when it is right, when it is wrong, and how to take control over it. I will cover the exposure triangle, and talk about setting ISO, choosing shutter speeds, changing apertures and how they relate to each other.
This class will teach you how to use your DSLR camera in manual mode.
Fee is $60 per person
• Understanding the light meter
• Understanding Depth of field
• Controlling light
• What is overexposure
• What is underexposure
• What is aperture
• What is shutter speed
• What is ISO
• Putting the three together
This will be a technical class to help you to photograph in MANUAL MODE.
If you know nothing about photography, have a DSLR camera, and are willing to invest some time to learn how to take control over your camera, this is a class for you.
If you know how to use your camera, but would like to attend one more time to a basic class on understanding exposure to refresh your knowledge, this is also a class for you.
If you are bored to death, have nothing else to do, feels like you are an expert and would like to attend, you are more than welcome. You can help to answer questions.
Please bring your camera.
This is a very technical class and I will talk all about those numbers in your viewfinder (ISO, shutter speed, aperture).
My goal is to give you the chance to understand and relate to those numbers in your camera so you know when you need to change them in your camera and WHY.
